Is there a way to delay the transfer to an operator on a Flash (2.1.00 version) after the home menu plays and no option is selected?

I am being told that it is too quick when a caller calls in. I timed it, and it is about 6 sec. before the voice mail responds with "one moment please" if i don't make a selection.

Also there doesn't seem to be a Return to AA on this version, or is there?

Any help would be appreciated.
Gabriel

you could let some dead silence stay at the end of recording your prompt, then save it.

There should be a return to AA under Table; greetings; AA.

The only way I've been able to force a longer time in AA during a flash session is to disable the Gen Mbox, have no attendant and make no attendant available. So no zero either. BUT I do make an attendant available from a CCR path if possible.

I wonder if all branches of a CCR tree were programmed to do something (but not necessarily prompted) that the time would be expanded to accommodate the extra choices???

Cheers

I did disable the Gen. delivery option, but the customer want's the operator.
I may try extra silence at the end of the Home Menu.
And i am almost sure that the return to AA feature is not there, but i will check again.
Thanks

Gabriel,

I would be really surprised if the return to AA isn't there.. it's even in the CPs. ???

Perhaps embelish the greeting with lots of Company info and other fluff? Slower speech? Are you using the AA or CCR path 0?

The timer is hard coded into the sequence. Only by using these little tricks can you simulate an extention of the time.

If you do find a cool way let us all know. There have been various posts from time to time about making the time longer or shorter depending upon the whim of the customer. But I don't remember anything better than the suggestions I or bkrike made.

Cheers

Will do.
I am using CCR path 0, and will probably have them re-record and tack on a sec or two at the end.
Thanks for the help.
