Flash prolbem

Just upgraded a MICS R1 T-1 to 6.0 and the Vmail, a Flash 4 with 1.7 software will not respond. I have tested the ports, and the line cords. They are both OK. When I log into maint and chcek the status of the ports, under Device it sees the Flash, but under State it says not avail. Any ideas?

Your Flash software is way too low for 6.0. I'm not at my office to look at the compatibility chart, but, it should have been upgraded first to the latest release. That is most likely the problem. Lots of big changes at 6.0.

Flash V1.7 is not compatible with MICS R6. You'll need to buy a Flash software upgrade of at least V1.9 or higher.

If I remember correctly, anything MICS 4.0 and above requires Flash ver. 1.9...

Just replace the feature card with 1.9 and above and you'll be in business.
