Flash Problem

I have a flash movie on my site that was made by someone else

The problem i have is lets call it music in the background constantly repeats

Is there a way for me to make it do the sound 2 or 3 times without having the Macromedia software ??

you will need a copy of the .fla before you can alter the .swf
with the fla you can make the changes you want and then republish but you do need flash to do this.
