I got a call asking if I could help with a VB-43050 issue. I have never worked on this system. All I have is a picture. Apparently they want to use the flash button to transfer calls. They have no dedicated transfer button. Whenever they press flash it drops the call. Is this not the proper procedure? Could it be a hardware issue? Looking for an installer manual, too.

the flash timer should be about 90-110 ms, if it is too long it will drop the call. if the phone flash timer can't be adjusted the system can, you could also try a hook flasd by hitting and releasing the hook switch quickly
