I hope this is the right group.

I am trying to install a stupid flash plugin and i am using netscape 4.7

i have followed the readme file that macromedia gives you, but i cant get the darn thing to work.

does anybody know what i am doing wrong? has anybody installed this stuff before?

thanks

Netscape 4.7 now uses the n32 ABI, and the flash plugin is o32.

All you need to do, is to install the netscape.sw.o32_client, and you should be OK.

The flash plugin should also be in the netscape distribution, just load netscape.o32_plugin.*

You don't need to download anything from Macromedia then.

Oh!, and the o32 netscape binary is called onetscape, and not netscape!!

Mark.
