Hi,

I need to download Flash Player, but not install it - I need the MSI installer, as my studio pc at home doesn't have net access and as the adobe site installs it automatically..

..so does anyone know where i can get the msi? Needs to be Flash Player 8 at the very least..

Many thanks...

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Kenneth,

The trouble is, that is the link i have already tried and there is no option for just downloading it, it automatically installs which is not what i want..

I know there is the ShockWave player but is that the same thing?

The reason i need this is that on some of my studio software (Battery 3 by Native Instruments), they have a Service Centre program where you can activate software, create an account and download updates etc and it uses Flash Player as its a SWF (well thats the only file i could find), so will ShockWave Player work for SWF's too?

When i try to run the NI Service Centre, it asks me to browse for the location of my Flash Player..

Cheers,

The link above won't install the Flash player. If you click "Download" button in that page the installer EXE will be downloaded to your machine. Then you can take the EXE to anywhere.

Shockwave player is for Director movies, not good for Flash movies. Shockwave player installer used to include Flash player, but I don't think it still does.

That still doesn't work. That link does not anywhere say download, it just says install now..

I've tried to right click the button and see if there is a save link as or save target as but apart from the default options the only thing i can do is save image as, its frustrating..

I'm using IE 7, so dunno if that makes a difference, but no matter where i look, almost every link (like takes me back to the adobe site and back to the install now page..

All i want is the msi or exe file grrrrrrr lol
