flash player installation in irix

i hope this is the right group.

i am having a hard time installing flash player on my netscape browser that is siting on a irix platform.

i have followed the macromedia readme file and it just wont work.

Do they even make a flash player for unix stations? I admin hp-ux machines and I have never been able to find one.

I have never heard of anybody getting the flash plugin to work with IRIX. I think you will find that any version of netscape you can find for IRIX is compiled N32 while the flash plugin is compiled O32. I believe this is why they do not work together. The only solution that comes to my feeble mind is to complain to Macromedia/Netscape that they should recompile and release a compatible plugin/browser.
