Hi all,

I have been speaking to some people recently and they mentioned that if they were producing something like I want they would do it in Director instead of Flash.
I am putting together a CD-ROM with a flash interface which will play full-screen and will contain small frame size video files and some text pages for info.

I am finding it quite difficult to get reasonable quality video to play within Flash so Im just muckin about with it a bit just now. I have only been teaching myself Flash recently and thanks to Big Dave, Old and others am progressing quite well.

I have never even seen Director so I dont know what it can and cant do. Can it control the playback of actual video files like .avi or .mpg?

Hope someone can help me out!

Cheers and a happy new Year!

Hope this helps
John
