FLASH MX - MODIFY/BREAK APART

Howdy FLASH'ers!

I just tried to use the handy-dandy modify/break apart function to manipulate the coloring on individual characters ...

In FLASH 5, it is as easy as 123. In MX, however, I was not able to figure out how to treat the broken elements.

What's up with that?

I should give myself a star for this but I won't!

I figured it out ... Say you type a word to which you want to apply custom colors and bla bla bla for each letter; or even animate each letter ...

You would have to break apart the word thus gaining control of each character as individual elements.

In FLASH 5, you simply need to select word and MODIFY/BREAK APART - You're done! In MX, however, you need to break apart the word and then break apart each letter.
