Hello,
I'm trying to to have flash write a cookie as a particular movie is loaded. I have a long flash video clip that loads when my site loads. I have a preloader that calculates how long it takes to load the first three frames and if it takes too long it redirects to another flash movie which is set up for slower internet connections. The problem is when the user with a slower internet connection reloads the homepage and the longer movie automatically starts playing since some of it has already loaded. I thought a cookie that would be written when the short movie loads would prevent the longer movie from trying to load when the homepage is revisited. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

A. Davis
