Flash Movie plays great but without any text!

I have a Flash 8 movie embedded in HTML that plays great on most computers, but on some it plays fine without any text at all (the pictures play, the animations play fine--but no text is displayed)! I updated the Flash plugin on these computers to see if that helps, but it didn't help at all.

Has anyone ever seen this and does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

Thanks!

Does Flash not EMBED fonts? Is there a way to embed them? I noticed on one of the computers that is having this problem that when I installed the Flash player the Flash website had a movie that didn't have any fonts either.

There MUST be a way to embed the fonts so that they look fine on all computers--Unix, Linux, Mac, Pc, etc. If I set it for "System Font" it would ruin the "look" of the movie.

Font outlines are usually automatically embedded in static textfields, unless you're using device fonts.
In dynamic textfields, the default is that the outlines are not embedded, and you have to manually embed them through the Embed tab in the textfield's properties.
Note that if using different styles (normal, bold, italic, bold-italic...) you need to seperately embed each style's outlines... And beware that embedding can raise the file's size by over 30KBs per font and per style embedded.

I'm have the same problem, but I'm using Arial and Arial Black.

Any suggestions?

I am self taught. Although I have worked in Flash for years, I was never aware that you need to embed the Fonts you use! Read-up on dynamic and static text in the help file to figure out what you want to do with your project. Keep an eye on file sizes when you experiment!
