flash movie going over top of frame

Thanks for reading-

I have a movie that looks like a remote control that serves as a menubar in the left frame of my site. When someone drags over one of the buttons in the remote, i have a sidebar pop out, and that works fine, i can click it and everything.

my problem is, i want that bar to go over top of my main frame and be able to float over text and the other html. how can i do this?

If I understand you correctly, that's only possible with IE and not with NS. Check this:
