Hello...

I have a large size flash movie embedded on my MySpace Music page; & in the time it takes for my PC, at my connection speed (Verizon DSL, downloading @ 2850 kbps) to BUFFER the movie...it blanks everything out...everything...no tables, no default music player, no SnoCap store, no nothin'...for 8 minutes. Then, all is there...looking the way it was designed, including the movie.

I need to figure out why this is happening (which shouldn't be happening.) Everything else should be there, up & in place...& the movie should just drop into the slot when the buffering is complete, correct?

Thanks,

Biggy Rat

I would guess the speed it takes is to do with the file and could only be made faster by reducing the file size (assuming this is a video you made yourself) as for everything else not displaying till the video has loaded then it may be that Myspace pages are setup so that the videos download first, or that they do not display content till everything has loaded. Perhaps a question for Myspace themselves.

I'm sure you're right, but I can't seem to find a compression program that gives realistic results AND a small file size.

Thanks,
