flash menu won't load

Hello everyone,

First off let me start by saying, I am not a Flash developer - this is my first experience with flash. I bought one of those flash menu templates online. I was able to get the thing configured and working locally. As soon as I uploaded it and my html file to the hosting server and tested, it doesn't work.

I've made sure that the file structure on the hosting server is the same as it is on my local machine. When I directly call the .swf on the hosting machine, it won't load. I have also qualified the path of my .swf file with the absolute path (

http://www..../../menu.swf)

- nothing works.

Any ideas what it is I am missing? Please be gentle...

Hey,

I'm no expert either but a couple of basic suggestions...
make sure you use

http://www.

at the start of the absolute path and make sure that the .swf file is both on the server and youve changed the permissions on the file so that it can be viewed when online. Also make sure the link to the .swf file is correct within the .html file.
i guess youve done these things already but if not i hope ive helped!
