i have a web page with a flash movie. the size of the movie displays fine on my mac using both safari and IE, but when i nip down to the internet cafe to check the page on a pc, the flash movie has been reduced to almost two sizes of a thumbnail. i just can't understand it!!! i visited 3 pc internet cafes in the area and they all display the same.

actually i'll provide the link.... its just small and simple landing page where you can also view the source code

You don't have any size parameters in the OBJECT tag but you do in the EMBED tag which may explain things - some browsers use one, some the other - maybe try adding the height and width parameters in.

cheers wangbar, i've updated it but i cant say if it worked coz i'm on a mac. so i'll pop to the net cafe tomorrow to see if its ok.

maybe you could let me know if it worked??

Yep - looks much beter. The animation is filling the white space now.

Yes that fixed it. XP Pro IE 6

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!
