Flash in Powerpoint 2k7 - xml files prob

Hi. I've got to embed a shockwave flash file into a PP2k7 slide.
All well and good, looked it up, did the control panel thing, and pointed at the .swf file. Nice.

But the flash file uses a number of xml files,

and has lost functionality within powerpoint, while starting it as a swf file within a browser works fine.

Doh!

Any ideas?
