Can you incorporate Flash Into Front Page? If so how simple is it?

Thanks,
Adam

Hi Ademar,

It is VERY easy to use Flash within Front Page. You insert flash movies as you would any other element. Make sure you are using tables for cross browser compatibility!

I've got a couple of suggestions:

You can use a very intuitive ( aka..short leaning curve ) program for your animations. Go to to download a fully functional 30 day eval of Swish. I posted my first flash animations withing 30 mminutes of the download.

If you're already using Flash, disregard that.

To add a Flash file to your page, go to:

Insert> advanced> plug in > then sectect the flash file you want to insert. IMPORTANT: Make sure you've set the dialogue box to the exact size of your animation of you'll "cut off the edges..."

Whan you upload the page to your server, make sure the flash animation is in the same level directory as the page.

I use Flash extensively on my pages with Frontpage.

Check out: The main page after the intro movie is ONE flash animation.

Also, you can check out:
This is a site I am developing with inserted Flash animations.

Lastly, keep a close eye on your file sizes. I follow the >100K rule. 92% of all internet access is still by phone lines. Larger file sizes work against you as they can take way, way too long to load.

If you have any questions, or if I can offer any help, let me know!

Cheers,

David
