Try setting your body properties on the page like so:
<body topmargin=0 leftmargin=0 rightmargin=0 bottommargin=0>
That should remove any space around the movie...
You can also set the bgcolor of your body to match the bgcolor of your movie to achieve the same effect, but I've found that sometimes the two don't exactly match, even if you use the exact same hexi number... go figure.
