Hello everyone.

Im learning flash at the moment and when i use a image in the background with other layers moving across it (in this case, large letters slightly faded out) the background image goes a bit wobbly and distorted. Is their anyway of stopping this? I should buy a book really i suppose:)

Thanks
James

Here's 2 methods that *supposedly* work:

1. Break the image apart on stage, then group it together again. Check your INFO panel - the image will be slightly bigger than it was originally. Reset the size of the image to their original values. This might sort it out.

2. Change the alpha value of the image (you might need to convert it to a graphic symbol first) to about 99% instead of 100%. I've been told that works too.

If neither of these work, would hold out on getting a book until something decent for Flash MX has been published (the Flash 5 Bible was good, but it's old hat now that MX is out, and not worth wasting money on.)

Thanks for that, ill try and work out how to do these steps now. I think I will wait for a good MX book to come out, before I buy. Thanks again.
