Flash ignores parameter play = false in dreamweaver

I have a flash file that is completely ignore the parameter play=false. I've tried everything and it just plays as soon as the page loads. I've unclicked the autoplay option in dreamweaver. Any suggestions?

How do you want your movie to start playing???

If you have a button that starts your movie just add a STOP in the first frame.

That's the only thing i can say with so little information...

I suggest you become a member and elaborate more on your next threads.

Thanks for your response Sharkey. I am a member but had trouble loging in since I had just joined.

I want my flash to begin after the web page has completely loaded. I had no problem doing this with my own site. Using dreamweaver I unclicked the autoplay button and then used the behaviors to play flash onload. It worked great. Here is my site -

. When i tried to do the same for a client, the flash would begin immediately and then stop when the page was completely loaded. Sit for a few seconds and then begin to play again.

I'll try your ealier suggestion, but if you have more that would be very helpful.
