I am having problem exporting my Flash files (.swf) into Dreamweaver.  I though that because fireworks and dreamweaver work so well together I could first bring the flash file into fireworks as an animated .gif and them export it  into Dreamweaver.  But once the animated gif comes into Fireworks the coulrs are all screwed up.  Could anyone give me sugestions on either gif colours or another solution on how to import a flash file to dreamweaver.

Make sure you use web safe colors (I think you might have to in flash, but now I'm not so sure). Also, make sure that when you set the gif settings you don't cut out colors you need (use all of them, them edit unnecessary colors). If this isn't the problem, I don't know what it is. It should look the same, actually. Also, try importing the file as a flash file into dreamweaver, as it might be smaller since it uses vector shaping. This can get horribly tricky with html (involving background transparency. See my question posted earlier). Good luck.
