Hi,

I am having a significant problem with a flash applet we've been using for quite some time on our site to display announcements and such. It's at - it's a site that I am paid to update, and as you can see the entire front page is destroyed by the missing flash file. I uploaded the index page, and the file: "scrollview.swf". When I tested it offline (i.e. on my pc) it worked fine in all browsers, but as soon as I uploaded it along with the new index file, it has disappeared. Anyone have any clue? Can you check over the index.html page for bad code? I can't figure out why this is happening, but it's a serious problem! Thanks

Tim

Thanks a ton - I don't know why it happened, but I figured out the problem.

Dreamweaver 8 asked me if I wanted to update the code to make it compliant with I.E. 7 and I said "yes". Basically it changed the object tags to this weird javascript (took up about 8 more lines of code) and then voila the flash wouldn't work in any browser. I found this in the html file, and deleted it, fixing the problem.

Thanks for replying though!

Tim
