I'm new to flash presentations and I've always found it valuable to look at existing presentations to learn techniques. Is there a way to download flash presentations from websites? If I right click on them, no download option is available. Thanks to all in advance.

The only way I was ever able to get one was to use a download manager, and type in the address of where I knew it to be... however, it's not going to do you anymore good than it would to just watch it over and over and over -- it's not editable -- the .swf file is exported from the .fla file which I **nearly** guarantee you is not on the site...

BUT!!! there is good news -- the guy who frequents this forum, davdesign is always making up .fla's and posting them for people to use and look at -- he does some really nice stuff, too, and will even explain to you what he did if you just ask -- so find a post by him, and follow his link that he always posts to his website, and have a blast!

If you check the HTML code for the page in which the swf resides you'll find it's location. Other than that why don't you just save the page? davdesign@pinkzeppelin.com

Swfs are downloaded on your machine! Every single one of them! As Dave suggested, just look at html to find out it's name. Once you have it, just do a Find File based on that name in your Temporary Internet Files or list them all with *.swf. Then just drag it to your desktop or any other folder, before your cache is deleted.

The .flas aren't usually available... But are in fact what you should get your hands on if you want to study the techniques envolved.
