Does anyone know of a way to convert a flash file to a pdf document ??

Can be as long winded or need any apps. The only requirement is that it keeps the vector information for the print quality.

don't know if this is what your looking for but you can do this..you can go to (in flash)export movie..you can save it as a png.sequence..it will break down all the frames into sequences..photoshop allows you to import png.files so you can do it that way..if your only looking to transfer a certain frame to pdf that will do the trick..once you've opened up the sequence in photoshop you can save it as a pdf..but i don't know if that was what you were loking for..hope that helped, if not good luck...

I have had good luck importing a PDF file into Illustrator (I use V9.0).

1. First import the PDF file into Illustrator 9.0 or higher. You can only import one page at a time.

2. Then use Illustrator's Object-->Path-->Simplify tool to reduce the file size, because the PDF import typically adds lots of control points.

3. Then export from Illustrator as a SWF for direct importing into Flash.

A variation on the above theme that has also worked:

Import PDF file into Illustrator. Simplify as above if necessary. Save imported PDF file as an Illustrator file and import that .ai file directly into Flash. Note Flash MX will import Illustrator formats version 8.0 or earlier.
