I hope all who read this will see this as something that could really be helpful and not spam. I decided to post it in this section of the forums because I think it will be really helpful to new flash users (noobies).
A few years ago I did some research asking Flash users if they thought that pre-made cartoon characters, ready to be animated in flash would be something that they would see as useful in assisting them in various flash projects: ecards, mascots for logo's on websites or corporate branding, characters for site intro's etc. Most agreed that yes, if they were available they would definitely consider using them if they were well put together and easy to use, and looked good and had appealing designs.
I am an award-winning flash animator and by the amount of custom work that I get in, I saw a definite need in this area. Hence, the idea for "Character Packs" was born. Character Packs are cartoon characters that are created in flash, and contain front, side and back views of the character. They include 6 different hand positions and 7 different mouth positions for creating dialogue in both the front and side view heads. They also have three different facial expressions: neutral, surprised, and angry. And they also contain pre-animated eye blink cycles that are movie clips that will automatically loop when you export your movies so that even standing still, your characters will have that added touch of life to them instead of feeling like a static image.
The mouths are very easy to animate since they are based on the "mouth comp" system (this is the system that Flash TV production studios use), so that dialogue animation can look good and be done quickly and efficiently!
We also offer backgrounds and props and will soon offer audio clips by professional voice actors so that you will have everything you need to complete an animation at the highest possible quality.
Again, I would hope that you would consider this as an extremely helpful resource and know that we are planning on adding new characters, props and backgrounds on a weekly basis.
