Hello everyone...

I'm with a serious problem... my flash movie has 14 scenes, in a total of 2000+ frames, with lots of vector graphics. When I try to publish (or test) it, Flash just can not finish the job! It locks in the progress bar after about 20 min working!!!

Do someone have any hint to optimize my movie, some better settings or something like this? I NEED to publish it!

Thanks...

Mosca

Have a look at how big the FLA file is and if it is really huge, for example you have lots of bitmaps in there, then it could be something daft like you are running out of disk space (doesn't happen to many people in this days and age of 20Gb hard drives, I know) or possibly memory.

Alternatively you could try putting each 'scene' into it's own flash file and then having a 'central' movie which simply loads the scene it requires.

Just some ideas anyway - other may have better ones!

scenes are simply an organizing feature of flash, thus cutting the movie into multiple movies as PetitPal suggested would make sense
