Hi,

If you access a site with Flash and you don't have the flash player, you can download this one. Everybody knows this ...
But there are some sites where the flash player download start automatically when your don't have the player.

Does anybody knows how this is be done?

Thnx!

You should specify the plugins page in your embedding tags in your html page. There is an example of the syntax over at:

Usually downloads can't be forced upon users unless they agree to it. The process can somewhat be automatic, but only if you agree to it in a dialog box.

;-)

If you allow Flash to create the HTML file for you...it will automatically ask the user if they would like to load the flash player...all they have to do is click ok and it is a very quick download...about 10 seconds or less on 56k modem.

This is done in the publish settings of flash under the file menu. Ya' Gotta Love It!:)X-)
