Flash animations lock up computer, browser related?

Hi,

For a while now I've had a real bad problem with Flash animations locking up my computer. Is this an issue with IE6 ? Or the flash animation ?
I've tried re-installing the flash player & compononents numerous times following macromedia's instructions carefully. Anyone else have this problem that can help me?

Even flash stuff on their own website locks me up, which is a pain when looking for help

Try getting and running Spybot Search and Destroy from

http://spybot.eon.net.au/

It will find a CDilla spybot from Macromedia, and let it erase it. My IE doesn't lock up, but after this spy is removed it runs a lot faster.
