Nearly all of my Websites run from one movie with other pages being add as movies which are loaded within that movie.

The trouble with this is, that the 'text used in movie tag', naturally only uses the text in that first movie. As a result, I've been publishing all the other movies to a temporary directory and extracting all the text to that tag.

I'm not sure if this is the correct solution, but what concerns me is that on bigger Websites the final text is so big that the search engines will probably disregard most of it, where as if they were in seperate htms ( ie smaller chunks ) they probably would not.

Quantity is not always good ... sometimes (as in this case) quality should prevail. Be selective about your meta keywords. Remember it's not just a case of getting your page to appear in a search engine list - it's getting it placed in the first or second page of results. Otherwise no one will ever see it. And the more extraneous rubbish you put in the meta tags (i.e. 'and', 'the', 'a' etc.) the less likely you are to score highly.

Remember ... quality, not quantity.

I agree with RG, forget <!text used...blah-blah!> tags, remove them, better to create you're own. Would probably reduce your file size anyway.

Sorry guys, I did'nt mean the meta tags... I already do keep those short and specific. I was refering to the 'text used in movie' tag that Flash inserts in a published HTML page. Is it there for the search engines to check the text to keyword relevance, and if so... why does it repeat animated logos as per the number of frames used in the animation. How do I get it to check the relevance ( if that's what it does! ) of the movies which are loaded?

Lastly can you suggest any information Websites concerning Flash and search engines?... Thanks for your time
