Is there a maximum amount of ram that you can allocate to Flash 5 without causing it to falter. I ask this because in using Final Cut Pro there is a maximum amount of memory that you can allocate after which the program slows down. I'm running a G4. Thanks.

Don't know much about Macs, but I use an Avid editing system, and allocating more ram to the Media Composer, never slowed it down! On the contrary!
Furthermore, on Macromedia's site, they mention a few problems they blame on too little ram allocated to applications, and suggest to make it larger. They never specify that allocating too much memory, would be a problem!
