Flash and Miva Merchant

Curious:

If MIVA is extensible and customizable, could I add a small Flash file to a page with MIVA content in it? A Flash animated banner, for instance? And are there any predefined controls within the layout editor to accomodate this, or would I have to go into the HTML code (likely the latter, I imagine).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

According to Miva tech support:

Should work fine. Since Flash is pretty much, end-user interpreted, you browser should parse the source code for the Flash appropriately.

In addition, I've seen some Miva Merchant stores that use Flash for their logos, so it should work alright. Robert Bradley
