Hi,

I created a very nice Flash opening page for a site. A search engine "expert" informed that I would have to eliminate the Flash on the opening page. She says, "Search engine spiders cannot read Flash code so they will not go into any page that has it. Just the way they are programmed. "

Does anyone have any info on this?

As long as the Flash movie is embedded in a HTML page you can still use META tags (which are the most important thing). Most search engines will be unable to search the text content of the Flash movie. Although a free site-search engine at can. Live forever or die trying.
