Basically, I have a scroll box with a default text in it for frame1. On Frame2, I am calling a new text to be put in it.

The problem I am having is that IF the text from frame1 is scrolled down to somewhere in the middle of the text and the user click onto frame2, the text will be called just fine, but it will also be placed in the middle of the text just like frame 1.

Anyone with any suggestion will be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

ok, here's the problem.

Basically, without scrolling and cliking on the different buttons (one, two) or the different buidings, you will load different text in the box. However, if you scroll down and then click, it will load the text but will stay at whatever scrolling point you are at.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Just reset the scrolling point when you load a file!

Can't really help you more than that unless you post a link to your .fla (zip it up), or e-mail it to me. Hit my handle for an address.

As I had posted...

Add the bold line to your "one" and "two" buttons, and on both your building buttons...

on (release) {
loadVariablesNum("1.txt", 0);
_root.text.scroll = 0;
}

Works fine then!
