Flash 5 / Flash MX

I've been out of the web design scene 6 months now (in back-end c++ now). I used Flash 5 a lot. Can you tell me what the main differences are with this new FLash MX- has the scripting language been improved again? New animation tools etc? Is it basically like Flash 5 but with a few new features?

There have been several big changes since Flash 5.

From a designer's point of view the major improvements are import and playback of video, dynamic loading of Jpegs and MP3 at runtime, vastly improved interface etc etc.

For developers the scripting side is much improved with features such as switch/case, an improved event model incorporating listeners, a drawing API to create vector shapes dynamically... it's a long list. Upgrade, it's worth it. Slainte
