Flash 4

i have flash 4. Does it cost any money to upgrade to flash 5?
it shouldnt
spent enough on it as it is.
also, how do you upload the flash movies to your website. What do you convert them to?

how could you have 'spent so much' on Flash, not knowing that upgrades cost money, and not knowing how to read the manual which came with the software you claim to have spent so much on? Just curious?

I'll answer you're question anyway. You go to File>Publish. Simple as that. The movie is embedded in html page for you. You then upload the HTML and the SWF (your Flash movie) to your server. If your using Dreamweaver or such like, you just have to drag the SWF file into the page and the Software shall do the rest. Am I correct in assuming that you no doubt have Dreamweaver?

i am 16. My dad bought it ok. I dont understand all the big words in it and everything. Also, the webpage i wont to put it on only lets my upload jpeg jpg and sumtin else. But ill werk on it.

If you do as I said (File>Publish) and then open the html file in Internet Explorer (or Netscape), then from the menu bar select View>Source.

Have a look at the code, everything between the <object... and </object> tags contains the relevant information for your flash movie. You can cut this code out and paste it into a table, frame, whatever. Just remember to always upload the HTML and the SWF file to your server. A lot of people new to flash forget that.
