Flash 4 & sys ports

I have a customer with a MICS 6.0 and Flash 4 channel. When I look in maintenance it shows the first port as vmail the second says unequiped. Is this normal? It dosen't sound right, it looks to me like the system is not seeing the second port. Any thoughts??

do u have the 2 port expansion plug in ?
if so may be thats bad ...

Bad connection @ vm, bad port @ ksu,can 4 people access vm at same time? or what senks1 said bad 2p exp.
