flash 2 fails to boot

I Just got a flash 2 back from repair. When we installed the voicemail everything went fine. Customer came to me and decided that they wanted to go to 3 digit dn's. So I reinstalled the flash and know I get inactive feature.

The KSU will not see the voicemail under port and dn status. I have checked the port with a phone and it's fine. I have also cleared all feature codes off the KSU.

I have tried everything even a different software cartridge from a working flash.

I am clueless on while initial install was fine then reinstalled it and nothing.

The KSU is an 0x32 with R1T1 and the flash is software v1.9

Anybody have sugjestions.

I would hook up a computer serial port to the db25 on the VM to see it booting... you should see error messages...

Take note it can take easily 4-5 minutes for a complete boot.

You need to do Feature 903 to set the feature codes after a re-install.

rhowlett is right 1.9 software reverts to codes F90X on reinstall. Step one is to do F903 and change codes to 98X range
