I have an extention(x231) with a voicemail box, but I do not know the mailbox number (programming by others). When I try to assign mailbox number(mb231) that matches the extention(x231), the Flash unit says that extention already assigned. I went thru Mailbox 221 to Mailbox 252, none had extention 231 assigned. My only guess is connect a printer to the Flash and print a mailbox report. Is that a serial port or a parallel port?

Serial port.
If you have a DB25 to DB9 serial cable, you can hook it up to PC. Use Hyperterminal or the like. 1200 8N1 I think.
Password: SYSMGR (all caps)
You can view the reports on the screen.
When you get down to the right menu I think it's 1 of mailbox report you want.

If you don't have access to serial port.
Try logging into mail via f983.
from the MB prompt select chg
When asked for mailbox number press # and scroll through the company directory and look for a mailbox called noname.
If you find a noname mailbox go back to mbox options and delete.
