i have a flash 2.0 on a CICS and I need to have the alternate language option functioning.

i recorded greeting 1 and i record a CCR prompt.

then I enabled Auto Attendant prompt, recorded a primary and alternate (I just said "primary prompt" and then "alternate prompt for spanish")

i call into the system neither one plays, i only get greeting 1 and then the CCR menu.

what am i doing wrong?

What happens when a call comes into the voicemail is the Company greeting plays. In that greeting you tell the caller that if they want to continue in the alternate (spanish) language, press 9.

Then EITHER the AA menu prompt OR the 0 Home menu of the CCR tree.

So if you have the CCR tree enabled then the AA menu prompt will not play. Disable the tree. MRoberts

i'll try that, so then I can't have CCR? will the tree have to be disabled permanently?

If you need single digit dialing then you would build the tree and record the 0 home menu prompt. Both the primary as well as the alternate.

Then the call would come in, the greeting will tell them to press 9 for the alternate language and then the alternate prompt of the CCR tree will play.

You do not have the choice of laguage in the company greeting only in the ccr tree. Therefore you need a bilingual greeting.

thanks mroberts, it worked!
