flash 1.36 won't sync to 8x24

I have a customer with an 8x24 with 5.1 software and one 12x0 expansion. It is linked to a Flash 4-port 1.36 which ran fine as a 2-port but will not automatically reconnect to the 8x24 after a power outage as a 4-port. If I power it down manually after the 8x24 restores it will connect. Is there a bug in the software or what?

so to say the voicemails boot off of the PBX/KTS ...

recommended power up sequence:
pbx first and then the adjuncts/ applications

power down sequence is teh reverse ...shutdown all teh apps first and then the system

I think (not sure) that the 5.1 is good with the flash 1.7 or better.

Thanks guys. However, whenever a customer has a power outage and subsequent power restoral you would hope the phone and voicemail systems would automatically come back on line. I do not have this problem with any other Norstar combination I maintain.
