We have recently had a domino server that is not allowing users to login. The behavior is random. We can not determine what the problem is. Could it be a license problem? Any help would be appreciated since we are new to the Domino world. Thanks

Look in the server document and check the security setting
Make sure the access server field is */your_DOMAINNAME and not access the server - field is empty Peter Van Eeckhoutte

With a little more information, we might be able to help. The problem is usually on the client side. Two pieces of information are needed.

What error is the client seeing?
What is recorded in the server's log.nsf?

Try doing a TCP trace and see what happens.
