I have just bought a wireless print server and just tried installing the driver on my laptop, but the CD/DVD drive doesn't seem to keep on spinning and so when I look on My Computer, I can see the drive but when I double click to browse and find the executable file, nothing seems to happen.
This may have been getting worse progressively - when I installed the drivers for a new printer yesterday, it took 5 attempts of putting the CD in the tray, restarting the laptop a couple of times and eventually it kicked into life and the install wizard took over, though in actual fact the wizard seemed to lock towards the end and I had to restart. The printer had been installed at this stage mind.
Can anyone please advise things to try to alleviate things..
