Flagging to turn off/on a button

So i think this would be solved using a query. i have a button on a form called button1. what i want to happen is say when button2 is clicked, enable button1. as soon as button1 is click, disable it until button2 is clicked again. the reason for doing this is so that someone doesnt press button1 more than once between button2 clicks.
