Fixing a browser issue!

Hi All

I have a small issue which u might help me solve.

I've built an applet which requests files from a file server. Upon download a request for a file certificate is done (per file download!)..this is done by opening up a new window and set the url for the certificate...once this is downloaded the actual file download starts.

Now they asked me to find a better solution then opening a new browser each time i would like to download and install this certificate! is there any other way i could go abt it!

You should need to install the certificate just once:

the issue is that the specifications delivered to me required that the certificate be installed everytime it is starting a download!
