I am importing assets into the fixed asset module and I received this error and wonder if anyone can tell me what it is telling us.

"Field on window is inactive or disabled. (Line #38)"

I would like to know what I need to correct or look for so I can fix the file.

FA import used to be a macro - and your error message is a macro error message. Macros work by emulating keystrokes, and if your FA is not setup in the manner that the macro expects it wil fail to run. In this case it is trying to access an inactive field. Step 1 would be to find the line 38 and see what it is trying to access. Step 2) would be to look at the screen that is open when the system crashes and see why that field is not enabled.
