Due to a virus we have had to move to our back up server.
All SQL has been recovered but many of the dbaseV dbf's and mdx's are now corrupt.
I need a good dbf fixer I can run across all dbf's and then I can reindex. Had a good look in forum but most of it is a bit complicated for me and I haven't found anything to fit.
I tried a few 'free' pieces of software found on google but you need to buy to get fixed file, that's OK but I couldn't get any reults from the trials to justify buying. The ones I tried were not 'friendly' and didn't appear to work.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Server Windows 2003, Clents Windows XP
Thanks in advance anyone...........Alan

Firsly back up all files.
If the database files have less than 16384 records and no memo fields, you can open them in Excel, and then save them again with a dbf format. Tou can reindex in Dbase.
