Hi, what I am looking is not the wrap. When I need to write a text I usually make a text box and write down or paste my text into the box. Sometimes the box is bigger than the text and in order to align the box with other subjects I need to fit the "frame" of the box to the text written. Then I can perfectly work with all my paths. In InDesign it's called something like Fit the frame into the content or the content into the frame, I don't remember. Now I need to finish a project that I decided to do in Illustrator and I can't find a similar tool.
I have never come across such a tool per se in Illustrator, but you can certainly try the following work-arounds:
1. Using the direct-select tool, carefully select one of the sides (you should see hollow selected anchors on all 4 corners after selecting) and use the arrow keys (or Shift Drag) to make the box fit;
or
2. Using the group select tool, click exactly on a part of the text box (far bottom edge is usually safest to avoid selecting the text) and use the scale or free transform tools to manipulate the size.
In both these scenarios, the text will re-flow to fit the container.
If you wish to scale the text with the box, just select using regular select tool and scale.
fitting frame to text isn't a possibility in Illustrator. I presume that the text is not very big, I mean a lot of lines. If so don't make a text box. Just click with the text tool on your artboard. You will see a little text insertion point. Now when you paste the text, text box will be the same size as te text. The only thing is that with this way of working all the paragraph settings won't apply.
Sorry being late. Only today I went to work and could try. Both answers, carlow and PanelMaker, worked very well and I solved my problems. Thanks guys!!
