Is there a way to derive the fiscal year from a date?

What I mean is, The U.S. Government uses 01 October as the start of a new fiscal year. Another company I worked for started on 01 July. Before we can help, you will need to know what your company considers the "first day of the rest of your life"... Terry M. Hoey
