I'm stuck with this:

- have set Samba 2.2.8a on an AIX box
- have set only 4 boxes to be access the shares.

Whenever I restart the server, the first windows machine
that grabs the server will prevent all other 3 machines
from seeing the server. Using the IP won't work either.
The usual message is "The network path was not found..."

What's the deal here ?

Tks.

Ok, I got it.

On the smb.conf have to add

max smbd processes = <whatever number of processes>

Have chosen 4 and presto : all my four boxes mount
the server and no other box is able to.
