First subreport record doesnt' show until I scan through all records

Morning all,

I am a bit confused. I have a report with two subreports. When I run the report, the first record doesn't show the first subreport. However, if I scan one by one, and the go back to record 1, the subreport now appears. I changed sorting options such that a different record would appear as first record, but I still get the same problem. Any thoughts?
